Who Wants My Golden Arm?

A young couple had just parked their car in a remote area. They turned on the radio for some music and started kissing.

Suddenly sudden, the woman realized where they were and told her boyfriend that this looked like the spot where many people had heard strange noises.

The couple looked at each other, laughed, and went on making out. They did not believe in the supernatural.

Suddenly, there was a scratching sound on the roof of the car. They both got a little jumpy and the man went out to look.

He looked on top of the car, but he did not see anything. He went all the way around the car, but found nothing. He looked under the car, but still no sign. He got back in the car and told the woman that he could not find anything on top of the vehicle or anywhere else; so, the couple continued what they were doing.

Shortly after there was another noise, but this time it sounded like it was at the driver’s side of the car. The man got out of the car once more, but the man could not see anyone or anything there. He then jumped back into the car.

Minute later, they heard it again, but this time it was louder; it sounded like someone was trying to turn the door handle. When they looked down at the handle, it was moving.

The couple was starting to become frightened, and did not want to go outside and see who or what it was. Instead, they tried to start the car, but the radio had been left on and the car would not start. The man reached toward the radio knob and switched it off, the car had enough power then that it started, and they left quickly.

As they sped down the lonely, dirt road, they heard a voice calling out, “Who wants my golden arm?” They heard these same words repeatedly as they drove farther away.

When they had finally reached a safe place, the man got out of the car and jumped back as if he had seen a ghost. There on the door handle, was a golden hook.
