Utah State Taxes

Choosing Utah as an RV Domicile State

Utah state taxes are an important consideration when choosing your full time RV domicile. RV families on the road should also think about Utah homeschool regulations, as well as Utah drivers license and Utah auto insurance requirements.

The nice thing about having no ties to any state is the ability to choose your RV domicile, or RV home base. You can find a state that offers the best set of options for you and your family, depending on your individual needs. Of course, not every full time RV family has the ability or option of choosing their domicile. See the following page to determine if your domicile has been chosen for you:

There are no qualifications parents need to meet for Utah homeschool in order to school their own children, no annual standardized testing or evaluations, but there are attendance requirements and subject requirements. Students must attend 180 school days per year, consisting of 990 hours per year (except first grade, which is 810).
