USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

We have stayed at this RV park 2 or 3 times as we've criss-crossed the US. It's right off I-40 in Gallup, NM - not exactly a destination in and of itself, but a great place to either overnight on the way somewhere else or to use as a base to explore other parts of New Mexico.

This park is SO easy - easy to get to, easy to get around, and super easy to set up. The sites are all huge and level - pull in and park. No messing with pieces of wood or levelers to set up your rig.

They have all the amenities - gift shop, store, pool, playground, game room, free WiFi and super-friendly hosts. There are a few trees, not many though - it is the middle of the desert. And the sites don't have outdoor grills. Not a huge issue for us as we pack our own little BBQ.

The bathrooms were very clean, plenty of hot water in the showers.

Their rates are very reasonable ($32 a night/$195 a week for full hookups as of April 2010); they accept all the regular discounts and if you happen to be active duty military you stay free.
