The Kentucky Horse Park is heaven for all horse lovers.

If someone in your RV loves horses in a passionate manner or you are a horse family at heart, you can't go wrong by diverting your travels to this amazing park. Another great attractions for road trip is the Corvette Assembly Plant. For just $7 a person, you can walk into the Bowling Green factory where the Corvettes of America are brought to life. The manufacturing process may not be lightening fast, but the cars that are shining at the end of the assembly line are definitely among the fastest out there today. If you have some speed demons in the family this is a great tour to participate in, but it can be very educational and a lot of fun as well.

Best Place to See Animals: Kentucky Down Under

Load up the RV and get the kids down to Australia.

Do you like collecting t-shirts from all of your travel destinations? If so, make sure to hit Jeffersontown, Kentucky and take the Fat Teddy Challenge at Chubby Ray's Restaurant. They make a five pound burger loaded with toppings and an overly generous heap of French fries. Your challenge is to eat the entire thing in one hour.

We're not talking about eat it as a family...we're talking about you and you alone! Think you can do it?

You will get a memorable t-shirt whether you actually succeed at the challenge or not, but you have to pay about $40 for the burger if you fail. Of course, if you throw up all over the t-shirt upon leaving the restaurant you may never want to wear it again anyway! Since many of the family members are believed to have died in the home, it now has a reputation for being haunted with at least three identifiable ghosts.

Today, it has been turned into a museum and is no longer lived in as a residence.

You can find it right in the heart of the state between Louisville and Lexington.

In the end you can earn up to $85 in gift certificates, will learn a lot about the state, and will have plenty of bonding time on the trails of many state parks.

This town has a history of bootlegging, prostitution, gambling, and other adult-oriented lifestyles. All of that is gone today, but there is a tour that takes you through the streets and introduces you to the thug life that was once alive in this city.

To go on this tour you have to find a babysitter for smaller kids and then make your way to the Gangsters Dueling Piano Bar.
