Skiing in Winter Park, Colorado

Each year, my family and I pack up our winter gear and head West to Colorado to hit the slopes at the Winter Park Ski Resort. Taking the family, and especially the kids, to ski at Winter Park has become one of our favorite family fun time activities!

We love the variety that Winter Park offers to its skiers. With over five mountains to choose from we are always exploring new terrain that is both challenging and fun. Winter Park also offers great starter slopes for our kids who are new to the sport of skiing, and I am very pleased with the progress they have made.

In addition to the wonderful slopes that Winter Park offers, the area is surrounded by astonishing views of rocky mountains, serene lakes, tall timbers, and fascinating wildlife areas. After a long day of skiing, it has become a tradition for our family to stand atop our condo deck and admire the beautiful landscape.

Finally, Winter Park offers an awesome inner tube sled hill for lift ticket holders to have some playful fun on after a day of skiing. The skiing, the beautiful surroundings, and the fun atmosphere filled with activities such as inner tube sledding has made the Winter Park Ski Resort a top tourist attraction in Colorado for me.
