Roaring Springs Water Park Boise Idaho
For those people looking for family fun and adventure in Idaho, you need look no further than Roaring Springs Water Park (http://www.roaringsprings.com/), located in Boise. The rides are absolutely fantastic, from the brand new Thunder Falls four person tube ride, to Viper's Vortex, which spins you round and around and around and out into the cool water. It's a relatively unknown place outside of Idaho, so it's never a long wait to go on any of the rides. The staff are without exception kind, friendly and very helpful, especially when dealing with younger children. It's easy for adults to enter the park, arrange a meeting place and time with the kids later on and let them go, safe in the knowledge that the staff will look after them. It's extremely well priced for a water park, with plenty of midweek and out-of-season discounts. A full day adult pass for a weekend is $27, with children going in for $22. However, the best value for the whole summer, if you're planning on staying near or moving to Idaho, are the season passes, that start from $140 for the year. There is so much in the park that even the most sedate adult will find themselves saving money using their pass. The park also is a great place for birthday parties, with special water areas reserved for parties. For younger celebrations, the park also provide Water Heroes, who will take the whole group off to play safe and fun water games, and a visit from the park mascot. All in all, a fantastic family day trip!
