Glacier National Park
Do you remember that movie, "What Dreams May Come"? Did you ever wonder where they shot those beautiful scenes with Robin Williams in his personal Heaven, that magnificent mountain paradise?
That was Glacier National Park in Northern Montana, known worldwide as one of the most beautiful national parks in the country.
Everything about Glacier National Park is breathtaking, from the clear air to its graceful forest-covered mountains.
My family would often spend our summers up here, enjoying the quiet and secluded camping grounds and fishing for rainbow trout in St. Mary Lake.
We had half of our family reunions along that lake, four generations of hard-working Americans spending the 4th of July under a beautiful untouched sky.
Glacier National Park is so quiet and remote, you and your family will feel like you're the last human beings on Earth-- just you, nature and your inner selves.
Even today, coming here with my own family every summer, we find it the perfect place to reconnect with the Earth in all its splendor. Little wonder that it's been declared one of the most perfect and sustaining ecosystems on the planet. If man were to go back to the land, he would go to it here.
Unfortunately, with today's busy and harsh world, a place like Glacier Park won't last forever. Its glaciers are continuing to melt, with less than 30 left in the entire park. In fact, there's a chance this natural beauty at our northern doorstep will vanish within our lifetimes.
This is why it's so important to get the full and authentic experience of real Montana while you still have the chance. You won't regret it, and your children will thank you for showing them America's wilderness at its best.
