Holiday World Splashin Safari
Holiday World/Splashin Safari If you have never heard of Santa Claus, Indiana, then you are in for a real treat. Located in the southern part of Indiana, Santa Claus has one of the best theme parks around.
When I was a child, I remember going there to visit Santa.
He was always so jolly and friendly.
A lot has changed since my childhood days at the park.
When you walk into the park, the Christmas Village is the first one you will come to.
Santa usually walks around the park year round so you can catch glimpses of him even in the summer. But there are other villages as well that pertain to the basic holidays, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Fourth of July, etc.
But since I have grown, Holiday World/Splashin Safari has added numerous rides and activities that are fun for the whole family. The park has the Voyage which has been voted again in 2010 as the #1 Wooden Roller Coaster.
In addition, since I have been grown, Holiday World has added Splashin Safari a wonderful family water park. It recently revealed the Wildebeest which is the world's longest water roller coaster.
The area has camping facilities as well for you to enjoy. They offer free sun screen and coke products throughout the park. Tickets are all inclusive and usually you are able to find discount coupons at local restaurants and online.
