Treasures of the Sea Exhibit, Delaware

A really neat place in Delaware that my husband, kids and I found while visiting his family in Delaware is the Treasures of the Sea Exhibit. Our kids were just little when we can upon this exhibit, but they enjoyed it just the same.

Our kids now that they are older love it just the same. While visiting the Treasures of the Sea Exhibit you will be taken on a tour with a tour guide and they will show you and teach you about treasure hunting in the Atlantic!

Our kids can probably repeat it word for word and lead the tour themselves for the most part, but every time we go they do learn something new! The Treasures of the Sea exhibit teaches you about the treasure hunter Mel Fisher and how he found silver bars, silver coins and etc. while on a treasure hunt under water in the Atlantic!

The Treasure of the Sea exhibit also has wonderfully detailed artifacts from Spain and the New World colonies. While there they also have a very nice gift shop with many wonderful treasures that actually were found under the sea!

Another great thing about the Treasure of the Sea exhibit is that it is family friendly in many ways, including the price! Any family, even those on a budget can afford to view this wonderful exhibit!

I highly recommend stopping here on any trip to Delaware..with or without your kids, its a great way to spend a day!
