Minnesota State Taxes

Choosing Minnesota as an RV Domicile State

Minnesota state taxes are very important when you choose your RV domicile. As full time RV families on the road, there are other issues to consider, such as Minnesota homeschool regulations, as well as Minnesota drivers license and Minnesota auto insurance requirements.

The nice thing about having no ties to any state is the ability to choose your RV domicile, or RV home base. You can find a state that offers the best set of options for you and your family, depending on your individual needs. Of course, not every full time RV family has the ability or option of choosing their domicile. See the following page to determine if your domicile has been chosen for you:

Minnesota homeschooling requires parents to have certain credentials, or else the homeschool must be supervised by a certified teacher who must submit quarterly evaluations. Standardized testing is required, as is instruction in the following subjects: reading, writing, literature, fine arts, math, science, history, geography, government, health, and physical education . Parents must file notice of intent along with a calendar of attendance.
