Lake Coeur d’Alene

I can not imagine wanting to take my family anyplace but Lake Coeur d’Alene located just an hour south of Spokane, Washington in the North East corner of Idaho State. This Lake is still pristine, a wilderness truly. It is huge and its depth, the weather conditions year around, make it a perfect place for any boater.

Lake Coeur d’Alene offers great fishing for all the family year around. This fantastic journey to Lake Coeur d’Alene is a must for every American family. It is a must to see the majestic beauty of the many American Bald Eagles that roost around the Lake Coeur D’Alene.

A vacation experience that could be said to be an American duty. So take merit badges form the kids. You can camp, picnic, boat, swim, and water ski at Lake Coeur d’Alene.

Some love to scuba dive, and almost everybody takes a turn at the fishing pole. Nearby in the small towns of Northern Idaho State you can find wonderful resort facilities, B&B’s, or just a few miles away enjoy the metropolitan shopping and entertainment of Spokane, Washington.

Do you prefer to spend your afternoons playing golf, or tennis, or would you enjoy a few days roughing it in the woods. How about a gourmet meal or a feast at the chuck wagon? All this and more is nearby for families visiting this area of Northern Idaho to enjoy.

The only drawback is that if this trip is to be a spontaneous adventure every member of your family will enjoy please plan you itinerary carefully. For there is so much to do, and so much fun to be had, that you will have to plan to stay extra days just to visit again what you, or the kids liked best.

Don’t forget your camera for the colors are changing and if the icy blue of the lake is always ready to reflect your day. Take fishing gear, your swimming gear; you won’t need insect repellent, hiking boots, and binoculars. For in Northern Idaho those on vacation “get ready, get set, and go”.
