Lake Catherine State Park, Arkansas RV Camp
In addition to the beautiful view, the staff in general and all the members we encountered are also wonderful – extremely helpful, friendly, and make you feel at home. Lake Catherine itself is very serene. I stayed here in my Fifth Wheel, in an area located at the far end of the park. There is waterfront access and it’s a family friendly place – however, there was no cable or wireless, which some people (like me sometimes) might need to plan around. On a hot sunny day you can have the sunlight by the lake, or some shaded comfort in the trees. Lots of wildlife comes through here! I saw a couple deer running by, as well as geese and ducks. The showers were clean and nice, hot water too. Several great walking trails run right by – depending on where your site is, you might have to tolerate a few campers navigating through your area to get to a trail, not a huge deal though. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place worth visiting! Nice and clean too. I may come back again, because I like the hot springs generally and this park was a nice location, peaceful yet near enough other things as to make anything in Hot Springs rather accessible. http://www.arkansasstateparks.com/lakecatherine/camping/
