If your looking for a ultimate family vacation adventure this is a good park to camp out on your journey through Kansas State parks. It features hiking and horse trails as well as a beach for swimming. You can access the park from the city of Norton.

If you don't mind taking a dirt road to reach the trails and a parking spot, you might enjoy this Kansas state park which doesn't get as many travelers as others. There are two hiking trails here and some basic spots for camping. A great addition to your ultimate family vacation adventure.

Head out to the city of Lawrence and you can enjoy this park which is well known by locals and visitors for boating opportunities. The Clinton Marina is the best place to go if you want to get out on the water for an afternoon. There are camp sites here but not all have electric hook ups.

This is an enjoyable state park for family vacation or families passing through the city of Meade. The camping spots have trees for shade and there are plenty fish to be hooked. A small beach area is also marked off so the kids can take a dip if they want.

This is one of the more expansive state parks in Kansas and it is an excellent place to park the RV and spend a few days of leisure. Besides all the typical Kansas activities like hiking and swimming, you can take advantage of some unusual activities like archery.

You can reach this park from any of these cities: Manhattan, Wamego, Fort Riley, Olsburg, Randolph, Westmoreland.
