Nebraska is currently known as the “cornhusker state”, but it was first nicknamed the “tree planter’s state.” The new name was not assigned until 1945.

Film History
The Omaha Community Playhouse deserves more fame than it currently receives. This is where Henry Fonda received acting lessons from Marlon Brando's mother.
