We spent 10 days at this campground and while the scenery is awesomely beautiful in the shadow of Pike's Peak, we were very disappointed in the campground itself and I doubt we will stay there again.

Most notably, routine cleaning and maintenance was sorely lacking. The restrooms were not cleaned on a regular basis - and there were very few hours that saw all of the toilets functional. At one point the toilets were so plugged and ignored for so long that the restrooms began to look and smell like an outhouse.

The office had very limited hours - they were closed by 2 pm every day even though that meant that the recreation room, trade library and store were also closed.

The laundry room did have small, but decent machines, however they were very expensive to use. $2.50 for a small laundry load - with additional 50 cents if you wanted warm or hot water. Dryers were 25 cents for 10 minutes. The up side was that the dryers were very large and I routinely put 2 washer loads into 1 dryer.

Wifi was pay - $4.95 per day; $14.95 per week. You were limited on the amount of bandwidth you could use so if you tried to download a movie to watch later, you were penalized by being downgraded to slower speeds.

The campground did have a playground and a pool; hot tub for adults. You can't beat the scenery and if you don't care about or won't be using the amenities then it may be a workable option for you.

As I said in my review, the scenery is beautiful here. Manitou Springs is a unique little town and fun to explore for a day. The Garden of the Gods - a natural "red-rock" park is amazing, awe-inspiring and within walking distance of the campground.
