Most states charge residents an annual income tax, in addition to their federal income taxes.

There are no required attendance days, or subjects, however a parent must keep a portfolio of the work his child does for two years. Annually, homeschooling in Florida requires either standardized testing OR portfolio evaluation by a certified teacher.
