Corral RV Park Our truck parked on the very nice pea gravel

We stayed at the Corral RV Park in Dalhart, TX, on a very hot day in July 2011. It was just an overnight stop for us, so we were looking for something inexpensive on our way to another destination. It cost us $20 (cash only).

We were very impressed with this little RV park. The sites were done in smooth pea gravel and were a decent distance apart. Pull-throughs. The whole park was extremely clean and well maintained. We use the showers at campgrounds instead of our RV, so are very critical about clean restrooms. Well, the Corral RV Park had very clean restrooms. They were dated, but obviously cleaned every day at least once. On the small side, they had one stall/shower for men, and one for women.

The staff was friendly and personable, there was free cable (the kids were very happy about that one!) and even a playground (though we didn't get a chance to visit it). No pool, but for an overnight stop, we really didn't miss it.
