1 large can sliced peaches, pears, or your favorite canned fruit in liquid
1 box white cake mix
Butter or margarine, about 1 stick or 1/2 cup, cut in pieces
2 tbs. Cinnamon or to taste
For this recipe, you will need to preheat a camping Dutch oven over the fire for about 5 minutes. When hot, add the can of fruit and its liquid into the pot. Put the dry cake mix on top of the fruit. Place pieces of butter or margarine on top, and sprinkle cinnamon all over.
Place lid on the oven and bake about 45 minutes.
