Bunkhaus RV Park and Lodgings Canyon Lake, TX
by Dharma Family
We were searching for an RV Park near our home city of San Antonio to stay before we hit the road full-time. It was a big miss with this RV Park. Our first day everyone was very nice and helpful until the owner came around and saw that we have an older RV. We were told that they don't allow RVs older than 20 years (ours is 22 this new year) and they couldn't believe it wasn't on their website. After they confirmed that it was NOT on their website they allowed us to stay. They continued to be polite, but no longer friendly or warm. They already had us in the back of the park, but told us they wanted to move us to a more remote spot so that others couldn't see. We understood the business reasons for this, so we agreed. For others looking at this campground, I will now offer objective observation. The campground advertises free wi-fi, but the portion of the park we were in (spaces 15-39) never had Internet. They kept telling us it would get fixed, but it didn't happen. We have five in our family, so we also made use of the bathaus. The bathrooms/showers were never cleaned the entire time we were there. They looked clean when we arrived. The toilet paper was replenished, but the papertowels were not. Overall, I would say if you have a newer rig, don't need to use their bathrooms/showers, and are placed in spaces 1-14, you might enjoy this park. Bunkhaus RV Park and Lodgings
