The Big Red Barn RV Park in Carthage, MO is a cute little park close

We stayed here during the summer from July 5th-7th, 2010. They allowed
us to have a late checkout on the 7th.

The sites were full hook up, pull thru with cable with the Passport
America price of $15. The brochure said that they only allowed 2 night
of PA and that they charged for kids but since the park was not busy
the owner did not charge us for the kids and let us stay 3 nights for
the PA price.

The playground equipment was shared with the neighboring church and
there was no pool onsite. There was a community fire ring but none at
the individual sites.

The laundry room was small and a little dingy. Some of the washers had
signs that you could only do a small load.

The internet was pretty fast and reliable.

There are some fun things to do in the area that are cheap to free. We
went to the George Washington Carver museum and the Civil War Museum.
