Avi Laughlin Resort (KOA), Lauglin, Nevada

This campground has everything you need. In addition to the usual KOA amenities (bathroom/showers; laundry room; pet area, picnic tables, small playground) they also have a horseshoe pit. A golf course backs up to the campground - our site was right next to the fence so we had a great view of the golfers and lots and lots of green.

Better yet, the park is across the street from the Avi Casino Resort and you have free access to the pool and fitness rooms there. The Colorado River runs right next to the resort and there is a swimming lagoon open to you as well. The casino also offers child care for kids 6 months - 12 years. We've used them in the past and our daughter loved it. She was disappointed she was too old to go there this trip.

The park and sites are easy to get in and out; large pull-thru sites, picnic tables (no outdoor grills). Security patrols 24 hours a day - everyone is very helpful in the office as well.

There is free WiFi, however we found it not very reliable. My laptop was usually able to pick up the signal, but my husband's was not. He went to the office to do his online chores.
