Probably the most important consideration when choosing an RV home base is the way income taxes will affect you. Most states charge residents an annual income tax, in addition to their federal income taxes. Alaska taxes do NOT include income tax, which makes Alaska a very attractive RV domicile state. Though Alaska does not charge state sales tax, several cities and boroughs within Alaska do, in fact, have sales tax.
