3D's International Restaurant, Great Falls, Montana

When you're looking for a fun place to have lunch after a visit to the Great Falls of the Missouri River, look no further than the 3D Mongolian Grill. While this restaurant overlooks the Missouri, there is not an awesome view from the restaurant itself. You can, however, see the giant “3D” from the river, which looks like it could be an old 3D movie theater from a distance.

It's not. It never was. The 3Ds stand for : Drink, Dine, Dance (though I didn't see any dancing). The restaurant features a Mongolian grill. There is a small buffet where you put the ingredients you want for your stir fry type meal into a bowl: meats, fresh cut vegetables, noodles, and spices. Then you wait in line and a chef grills your food for you right there in the middle of the restaurant.

There are different sauces you can add to your meals and experimentation is encouraged! The kids had a blast piling veggies on their plates and spicing them up (when do kids have fun eating veggies?) And the prices, at least for lunch, are very reasonable.

A must stop in Great Falls! We frequently visit this city and stop by 3Ds once every trip.
